All of the following patients had revisional (redo) surgery to correct problems associated with previous procedures. The revisional procedures involed surgery on the forehead (eyebrow lift), eyelids (blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, canthoplasty, etc.) and midface (cheek lift). The particular procedures are descibed for each individual case.

This woman was very unhappy with pulled down (retracted) lower lids from previous surgery by another doctor. After revisional surgery (midface lift, canthoplasty, lid elevation) She is much improved

This woman had a poor outcome to her previous lower lid surgery with lids (especially left lower lid) which pulled down (retracted). After revisional surgery (cheek lift, canthoplasty, lower lid elevation) she is much improved..

This woman had a poor outcome to her previous lower lid surgery (by another surgeon) with lower lids which pulled down (retracted) allowing the white to show under the iris (colored part of eye). This is called “scleral show” and makes the person look “wide-eyed”. After revisional surgery (cheek lift, canthoplasty, lid elevation) she is much improved.

This woman had lower lid surgery elsewhere which led to pulled down (retracted) lower lids. She felt this looked strange. After revisional surgery to correct the problem (canthoplasty, cheek lift and lid elevation) she was much imporved.

This young man had a pulled down left lower lid after trauma (fracture of bones around the eyes). This occurred because of the surgery to fix his fracture and not the fracture itself. After revisional surgery (release of scar, canthoplasty, and lid elevation) he is much better at only ONE MONTH AFTER SURGERY

This woman's right lower lid was pulled down after cosmetic surgery from another doctor. After correction (canthoplasty, cheek lift, lid elevation) is looks perfect. Her left lower lid is also slightly pulled down. She declined to have it revised

This woman had pulled down (retracted) and turned-out ectropic lower lids after cosmetic surgery elsewhere. After lower lid lift, cheek lift, skin graft and canthoplasty she was much improved. This example shows how patients can often be improved but never made perfect (depending on the degree of the presenting problem)

This woman also had lower lid cosmetic lower lid surgery elsewhere. She was left with an ectropic (turned-out) lower lid on the left after surgery. I revised the lid, in the office under local anesthesia with an excellent result
